29 weeks and counting...
Wow... how is it even possible that Maya is actually 43 weeks old right now and I am just now posting about her 29th week of life?!?!? I promise, at some point I am going to convert into just posting about months and not weeks! :) It must be the nurse in me...
This 29th week or beginning of Maya's 7 month was a lot of fun here in San Francisco! The weather was really warm for about a week so we took advantage! With multiple trips to the park and a trip to the beach we were soaking up the sun as much as possible!
We started some major sleep training this week as well. We got into some major bad habits of holding her while she slept so we had some major work to do. I was given this book called Health Sleep Habit Happy Child by Dr. Weissbluth by one of my fellow coworkes and it has worked miracles for our lives! Maya would want to fall alseep nursing and then would wake up as soon as I tried to get up, or she would wake up right as I would try to place her in her crib or pack n play. So, I was very proud to snap a few of these pictures of her sleeping by herself!
So in attempts to familiarize her with her crib (where she needs to be sleeping) we started having a little play time. She loved holding onto the slats and started pulling herself up to stand! But for now she is still sleeping in the pack n play in our room! But....it is a work in progress!
Success! Sleeping beauty in her pack n play! She started rolling over onto her tummy and it is about the cutest thing you have ever seen!
lots more of catching up to do...

for uncle kyle
Before maya was even born Uncle Kyle bought her this sweet opposable wooden bear named Ursula.
We were scolded the other day when he visited asking us if Maya ever plays with Ursula.
Well...she does now! Just shy of 7 months and she LOVES her Ursula!
