We attended a baby shower for another nurse that I work with and it was such a treat! Winnie and Hamish picked us up and away we went for an afternoon of high tea and lovely ladies plus one tiny gentleman. On the drive there I looked back to see little H holding Maya's hand. It was so so so adorable I couldn't resist taking a picture! Unfortunately you can't even see Maya's precious face...but it is definitely her! They like each other!
Winnie and Hamish, Shannon, Hannah (the one expecting) Bethany, Shauna and little miss and myself. Maya was not really cooperating with the whole picture-taking situation so we have a nice shot of her never-growing bald spot.
I have to admit that I have never myself been to an actual "real" tea party. It was really fun! I can't wait to bring Maya back when she is older! It was such an elegant place with everything frilly and girly.

What an enjoyable little outing it was. Maya did fabulous, right down to the car ride. I see many tea parties in our future!
addendum: Hannah was 3 weeks away from her due date when we celebrated her baby shower and she went into labor literally the next day! She delieverd a healthy baby boy named Caden! How did she deliever 3 weeks early and I delieverd 1 week late???? Ah...the mystery.
